My Tropical Series paintings feature unique frothing water in the Ocean moving across the canvas is full of abstract bubbles and individual water currents. The series is made up of the same rich blue turquoises and aqua blue. The rocks were applied thickly using a palette knife mixed with acrylic plaster.
The oceans design was created using an abstract method of painting called acrylic pouring. The heavy white paint is layered on top of the colors, which are mixed with silicon oils. The difference in the paint's densities create the abstract designs and bubbles seen across the canvas. There are thousands of bubbles within each painting.
The white to dark blue contrast will pop against any toned wall and the Tropical Series paintings will thrive in a brightly lit entrance or washroom.
