My piece 'Sundown' is an original poured, expressionist painting of a sunset. Taking place on a colorful summer evening; the pine trees on the bottom show the landscape’s magnitude.

I wanted to create an intense, colorful and contrasting piece. I chose a bold palette that allows the colors to work together to create unique combinations. The dark blues to an intense white really plays with contrasts in Sundown. I started by pouring a dark blue sky with a deep magenta and orange accents in a composition that leads the eye in a zigzag pattern. The sky is intricate and full of amazing bubbles that developed through cell formation.

This painting will thrive in a home office or would make a fantastic gift to a loved one and is designed to be a powerful piece. If you're looking for a small light gray framed space nature landscape with bold colors, Sundown will look gorgeous and will bring life to any space.
