When the wind rolls over the tall peaks, it sings and announces its life.

Title: Golden Hour

Canvas: Gallery stretched Cotton Canvas, varnished twice, signed and dated on the back.

Size and Weight: 27 inches height x 33 inches width. 8 pounds/ 3.6 Kg

Dominant Colors: Blue, Orange

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas, floetrol, matte varnish, Dark Walnut Pine Wood Frame.

Ready to Hang: Horizontal

My piece ‘Golden Hour’ is a landscape painting featuring a vast sky full of receding clouds. Below the clouds are silhouetted trees on the water against a golden hour sky. The colours in the sky transition from cool blues to warm oranges, which are mirrored in the body of water beneath. The acrylic poured technique that the artist uses works well to capture a bubbling abstract quality to the serene landscape.

Golden Hour is completed in a handmade floating frame which I stained a dark walnut to complete and balance this contrasted painting. Golden Hour will thrive in a room with bright orange or yellow pops of colour.
