I stared up at the sky in awe. The landscape which I’ve seen a thousand times transformed itself into a magical cloud burst.

My piece ‘Cloud Burst’ features composed large red and white clouds which plays with a contrasting cool and warm colours. In the lower canvas, an outlined horizon features silhouetted trees, grounding the scene and showing the scale of the massive clouds in the sky. The clouds are created using a technique called acrylic pouring, a medium which creates thousands of abstract patterns and texture.

Cloud Burst is completed in a dark walnut frame which will pop against a light and neutral toned wall.
