Ready to Hang: Horizontal

My piece 'Fissure Siphon' is an abstract designed painting which is balanced across the canvas. This fluid art piece was painted a dark black and blue solid base with very slight textured bubbles that is simple to really bring the viewers eye to the pop of the design. Next acrylic paints were mixed with silicon oil to create an extremely fluid painting medium. The dark blue was poured on the surface in the shape of the design and very carefully light blue's soft white and a small application of pink pops were added and this allows bubbles and abstract patterns to develop that sink into the main design's background. White was added last to accentuate the skinny middle as the focal point, completing the abstract. Two layers of thick gloss varnish makes the painting shine brilliantly in the light. The dark background will thrive on a light- neutral toned wall.
